A Kitchen Full of Possibility

It all began in a country kitchen surrounded by the simple joys of homegrown produce and the sweet smell of something bubbling away on the stove. What started as a way to use up an abundance of fruit quickly turned into a passion — first cooking for friends and family, then for small local markets where the jars never seemed to last the morning.

There was something about the warmth of sharing homemade preserves that just felt right, and before long, In A Pickle Preserves was born.

Crafted the Traditional Way

Over the years, that same love for honest, handcrafted food has guided everything we do. Each jar, bottle, and pouch is still made with care, just like it was on day one — small batches, quality ingredients, and a whole lot of pride.

From our jams and chutneys to our pickles, sauces, dip mixes, and ever-growing range of BBQ rubs, we’ve stayed true to the belief that good food doesn’t need to be complicated — it just needs to be made with heart.

Locally Grown, Family Made

What began as a humble side project has grown into a family-run business that celebrates the seasons and the people behind them. We still use local produce wherever we can, working closely with growers who share our values.

Every batch tells a little story — of early mornings at the markets, of recipes perfected over years, and of that familiar sound of lids sealing tight on the bench after another good cook-up.

In recent years, our range has expanded to include over a dozen BBQ rubs and seasonings — each with its own unique flavour and story, from the smoky depth of Double Smoked to the bold kick of Moroccan, the sweet tang of Tennessee, and the warm spice of Ironwood Pepper.

We’ve poured our creativity into designing each one, right down to the labels, so they look as good on your shelf as they taste on your plate.
